Chillingworth pretends to be a doctor and audition his suspicions of Dimmsdale being the father of his married womans child. He proves himself correct. Pearl, who is Hesters daughter is also mentioned throughout the story. Arthur dies when Pearl is alone seven years of age. This book is historical fiction and romance. It takes empower in Boston, Massachusetts, during the middle of the seventeenth century. This book seemed pretty solid paced to me. The story of Hester and Arthur comes back and relates to Adam and eve and how they sinned. But, it also shows us how sinning, is a human nature we cannot escape. I enjoyed this book because it was devalued paced and there was hardly ever a dull moment. On a scale of 1-10, Id give it a 9. I think somethings could fetch been explained just a little more.
